This workshop will teach you how you can improve the quality of life for you and your animal companions while deepening your relationship with your pets.   Animals respond naturally to Reiki as it is gentle and non-invasive and can yield powerful results.  Reiki assists in bringing healing, balance and harmony to the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies.  Animals are very open to Reiki energy and will often come right up to the Reiki practitioner and ask for the healing energy.  Reiki treatments can be used alone or as a compliment to traditional veterinary and holistic care.  After discussing the basic history of Reiki, you will learn the fundamental techniques to begin practicing Reiki on yourself and your pets.  You will receive your first attunements and become certified as a Level I Reiki practitioner.  The morning will be spent on education, instruction and practice on ourselves.  After lunch, you will  practice your Reiki skills with the equine residents at Equine Rescue Adoption Foundation.  All materials are included and you will receive a certificate after completion of the workshop.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to ERAF.
